The RVRA is committed to providing information that is important for retirement village residents across NSW. As part of this process, we review the relevant laws and work with industry and government to develop education resources for our members and all NSW village residents.
The RVRA is continuing this work by developing the Retirement Village Education Centre with the assistance of the NSW Government.
We provide short videos, webinars and printable resource kits covering information about topics that may be a concern for retirement village residents, researched and written by the RVRA – i.e., by retirement village residents with reference to the NSW Retirement Villages Act.
The RVRA also conducts independent research on matters of concern generally focused on NSW retirement village residents, but also on a national scale. These pages provide the results of surveys and research into psychological elder abuse, village budgets and Retirement Village Contracts.
